A website & logo refresh to lead the business into a new phase
About this project
Website refresh
Sheila Hirst already had a beautiful, serene-feeling website for Hirst Executive Coaching, but when she decided to shift her business focus to Storytelling, we agreed the best approach was to evolve the brand and refresh the website to reflect the move to Heartwood Stories.
With the brief of updating the website to mirror this business change, I restructured the website content, adjusting page layouts for variety and adding more colour and warmth to the design. All the while, we made sure that the new information was presented clearly in a way that gently leads readers to enquire.
Completing the website refresh with training on Squarespace (the website management platform) has enabled Sheila to move forward and maintain the website herself, feeling confident that she can use this as she desires in future to promote herself and adapt with her business.
Logo updates
Working from the original logo design, I made some simple tweaks to transition this to the new Heartwood Stories logo, ensuring the rebrand felt natural and professional. Creating high-quality versions in colour, white, text-only and various file types, Sheila now has a complete logo pack to use in her marketing going forward.
“You have been a pleasure to work with Mel. Considered, creative and calm with my head scratching and changes. Just what I need in a marketing person & website designer.”
- Sheila Hirst, Heartwood Stories
